Great Training - Cognitive Edge in Toronto

Here is another video that explains how Cognitive Edge uses complexity theory to generate valuable insight from narrative fragments using their SenseMaker software.

Also, there is a Cognitive Edge seminar coming up on November 25/26 in Toronto. You can
see the details here. There is also a one-day workshop on Nov 27 that provides help in running the SenseMaker software. Having attended a Cognitive Edge event in San Francisco, I can endorse the value of the process and solid grounding of their approach.

iTeams - Banff Centre

I am scheduled to present the iTeams concept at the Banff Centre Leadership series they call Leadership Learning Labs on the evening of October 15. The interaction oriented sessions provide a great environment to field test ideas and refine concepts with other leaders.
Above is a visual overview of the iTeams process. The challenge has been to build a structure that is resilient, adaptive and non-linear while retaining clarity and a capacity to communicate information that is of value. In my experience, straight lines are seldom part of ingenuity driven solutions, although elegance is. The date on this post is in the future so that it stays at the top of my blog entries. Does anyone know of a better way to keep something static within the lineup? Wordpress has a 'pages' function that creates nav bar and works great. Not so with Blogger - as far as I know - and I'm in old Blogger because I don't want to lose all the formatting and template changes I've made over the years.
