Ingenuity Arts workshops

Although I put this together many months ago, I have negelected to post anything further about where my Ingenuity Arts applications have gone...wait no longer. Here is the skeleton - you can attend a full seminar to fill in the gaps. There is something powerful about triads so I have organized my ideas around three concepts that represents hubs for additional ideas. One of the goals of this project has been clarity - making the insights and concepts of complexity theory more palatable to people in business, politics, education, and so on. Leaders don't have time to drill deep on every theoretical well that impacts their work. Here's my translation:

iSee (iSurf, iZag, iCrunch)
iConnect (iFarm, iRelate, iGuess)
iDraw (iPlay, iScribble, iCut)

These are really the strange attractors or hubs that, in my learning and leadership experience, create conditions for really interesting things happen. They operate in three dimensions - four with the passage of time - and intersect with each other. Ingenuity is essential to survival and operates unconsciously for the most part. I (and many others) think that we can actually become more intentional about generating ingenuity through learning more about how it works. We can do this not only with physical technologies, but also with our social technologies, the ways in which we organize ourselves. I'll summarize each of them in a separate post.

Love the graphic! I seem to remember a story that this particular name tag was connected too. I have been currently considering the complexity of the organisation i work with and marvelling at the numerous levels and ways that work is performed and completed. My interest in your blog spiked when you mentioned the intentional process of generating more ingenuity. I look forward to the upcoming summaries. So you better get to work!
