Being Eccentric with Style

I haven't seen the movie but if it follows the same rhythm as the website - and I'm sure it does - the Winking Circle DVD will be a great ride. The capacity to not only talk about being creative and living life fully but to actually get at it, is inspiring. The Winking Circle group carries forward our strong play impulses and refuses to have them submerged under the extraordinary power of the rank-and-file conformity that packages and wraps us.

The images of the crazy bikes make me laugh and feel hopeful at the same time. I drive an old, tired Aerostar van and I have been thinking of some unusual ways to modify it over the last few months.

After visiting this site, I have been very much inspired to continue to think about it but even better, to actually get at it. Maybe my kids or the students in my class or my co-workers could all help in modifying my ride, a moving expression of the various parts of my life. Now that seems interesting...

Hey there,

Sorry for commenting off topic, but I noticed you commented at emergent.ca about our DTS. I couldn't find an email address for you, but wanted to send you this comment so you could contact me if you wanted more info. We are really excited about the school and would love to see the word get out. Let me know.

Peace,
Jamie Arpin-Ricci
